THE 55K SALARY
When I moved to Abeokuta, I lost so much.
I lost the energy to host classes on whatsapp, I lost the energy to teach.
I don't even want to feel like moving to Abeokuta killed my dream of Agrodemy.
I applied for MBA. Till now, I haven't heard from that FUNNAB of a school, how disastrous.
The place where I work, I am paid 40,000.
I like my boss, he is a very good man, infact I have spent more time studying him run the business than anything.
While with him.
I was the camera woman.
I would plan and development project framework.
I would manage social media handles
I would create designs graphically and edit videos on few occasions.
I did all of these because I wanted to learn, watch the organization grow and cut my own teeth.
On the 4th of may, he pay April salary I realized my salary was increased to 55,000.
While this is a good news, I must say the whole money is gone.
Agrodemy website would be due by may 15 and I needed to pay up the subscription fee of 51,000.
Well I just did that and I'm back to square one. I would simple get 20k from Agrodemy account remaining 35k.
I would pay my tithe on the salary, I would get a friend's aseobi cloth, I would pay my volunteers data allowance of 5k and the remaining money I would look up to God for miraclesðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜.
I'm broke.
I don't have money for data.
My office ladies are always thinking I lie when I say I don't have money but the truth is, I don't.
See, Agrodemy has not made 1 Naira this year, 2021.
Not all all.
I am only looking up to God for help.
But I'm not giving up.
